Ravenna, the 2023 capital of the "Dragon Boats", will host the European Championship for National Teams and in 2024 the World Championship.

The 2023 edition of the European Dragon Boat championship for national teams (Chinese canoes) will be held from 7 to 10th September in Ravenna, in the Standiana basin, while the World Championship will take place, from 5 to 8th September 2024. After nine years, Emilia Romagna will once again be the stage for a sporting event linked to the Dragon Boat. In fact, in 2014,  the Dragon Boat World Club Championship was held with over 129 clubs from 27 countries.
