100 excursions through villages, hills, nature and art cities

Summer 2026 Program

From June 3 to September 10, 2026, “A SPASS – Discover Romagna by Bus” returns: a project designed to guide guests through the most authentic side of Romagna with 100 excursions departing from 10 seaside resorts along the Riviera and reaching 40 destinations including historic villages, castles, natural parks and art cities.

From the Valmarecchia valley to the Romagna hills, from UNESCO World Heritage sites to medieval fortresses, passing through vineyards, ancient parish churches, salt pans and the landscapes of the Po Delta, the program offers experiences combining history, culture, nature, traditions and local flavors.

Highlights of the itineraries include:

• San Leo and Pennabilli with “The Poetic Soul of Montefeltro”
• Verucchio, between archaeology and the Middle Ages
• Montebello and Poggio Torriana with the mysteries of the Azzurrina Fortress
• San Mauro Pascoli, following the footsteps of the poet
• Longiano and Roncofreddo, timeless hilltop villages
• Bertinoro, the “Balcony of Romagna”
• Riolo Terme and Casola Valsenio, between Caterina Sforza and medicinal herbs
• Forlì, with evening tours of the Rocca di Ravaldino
• Faenza and Brisighella, between UNESCO ceramics and medieval landscapes
• Sarsina and Mercato Saraceno, among Roman theatre, wines and historic pilgrimage routes
