Festival Gourmet
From August 11 to 16, every evening from 8:00 PM, flavour takes center stage on the Terrace of the Grand Hotel Rimini with “Sapori d’Autore – Summer Gourmet Festival”: five unique gastronomic evenings where the spotlight is on the products, the artisans, and the stories of our region.
Leading this culinary journey is Chef Claudio Di Bernardo, together with his team, offering a rich, themed gourmet buffet that changes every evening.
Each event features a special guest – a producer, winemaker, cheesemaker, or refiner – who will present and share their local delicacies in person.
The buffet includes appetizers, first and second courses, barbecue, live cooking, and finishes with fresh fruit, gelato, and desserts.
To make the atmosphere even more engaging, each evening will be accompanied by live music performances from selected musical groups, for a complete sensory experience of taste and harmony.
Monday, August 11 – The Land, Grains & Signature Leavening
Guests: “L’Arcangelo” Farm from Santarcangelo di Romagna, San Patrignano Bakery, and Amarcord Brewery from Apecchio.
Vegetable specialties, artisan preserves, bread, ancient grains, and long-fermented focaccia take the spotlight in a night dedicated to the Romagna hinterland. A buffet of fragrant doughs and baked goods, accompanied by extra virgin olive oils, marinated vegetables, and selected craft beers, paired with traditional and creative recipes.
Tuesday, August 12 – Art Forms: Cheesemaking and Winemaking
Guests: the "poet of cheeses" Vittorio Beltrami from Cartoceto and the Maîtres Fromagers of Mons, a historic French cheesemaker, will meet the wines of Tenuta VistaMare in Santarcangelo di Romagna.
A refined selection of Italian and French goat and sheep cheeses, enhanced by artisanal compotes, dried fruit, and specialty breads, paired with a full-bodied local white wine. An evening celebrating the art of aging, the intense flavor of fine signature cheeses, and the winemaker's savoir-faire.
Wednesday, August 13 – Bubbles & Sea
Guests: “La Collina dei Ciliegi – Cà del Moro” Winery and Diomedea – Oysters from Gargano.
The evening features a rich seafood buffet with tastings of raw fish and seafood dishes paired with Martinotti Method sparkling wine. Enhancing the experience: meet the producers, discover the terroir of Lake Garda and the Gargano coast through stories, guided tastings, and sensory exploration.
Thursday, August 14 – Meats & Smoke
Guest: Spadoni Gourmet Workshop – The Mora Romagnola from Brisighella.
BBQ classics with a twist, featuring special marinades and a selection of premium cold cuts. The stars of the evening are the noble meats of Mora Romagnola, a Slow Food heritage breed, presented in fine cuts and gourmet preparations. An event for meat lovers, with an open grill where the aromas of smoke and embers fill the terrace in a convivial yet refined atmosphere.
Friday, August 15 – Ferragosto Gala Dinner
The highlight of the Gourmet Festival, the Ferragosto Gala Dinner celebrates the most sparkling night of the season.
Poolside aperitif, buffet dinner served in the Garden of Olives, then the evening continues on the terrace with live music and dancing. To end on a high note: a final drink under the stars… at our iconic Bar-Rino.
Saturday, August 16 – The Night of the Masters
Guests: Casalba from Villamayor del Río Burgo, Spalletti Colonna di Paliano Winery, Velier Distillery, Tierra Organic Arabica Coffee.
A buffet menu paying homage to Fellini’s imagination, filled with dreamy suggestions, nostalgic flavours, and small masterpieces to savour under the stars. From tastings of aged delicacies made from traditional recipes, to sweet creations by our pastry chef to accompany the house’s refined dessert buffet – all paired with sparkling wines, passiti, rum, or signature coffee.
The evenings are open to everyone, including non-hotel guests. Price: €80 per person, drinks excluded, every day except Saturday, August 16, which costs €90 per person, drinks excluded. Children up to 3 years old enter for free; from 4 to 12 years, the cost is €45 per child (except Saturday, €50).
